Discover the healing power of Acupuncture in Dupont Circle, Washington DC.
Welcome to Redstone Acupuncture.
When your systems are out of balance, it can be hard to show up for daily life and all that it brings, both wonderful and challenging.
People often ask, “What can acupuncture help me with?” The answer is: just about everything. Acupuncture is a holistic medicine that sees the body as an interconnected ecosystem rather than a collection of separate symptoms. Even with complex concerns, we can begin untangling the web of what’s going on and find a way forward.
Acupuncture is also a powerful form of preventative medicine. It helps the body stay balanced and resilient even when you’re already feeling well. In many ways, the best time to receive acupuncture is when you are well — investing in your health so that you can stay well in the future.
Wherever you are in the process, it would be my pleasure and privilege to partner with you on your journey toward greater balance.

My practice focuses on the Balance Method, a style of acupuncture known for its clarity and effectiveness. This method allows treatments to be both precise and comfortable while producing meaningful clinical results.
Acupuncture works best when treatments are given consistently over time. Each treatment builds on the one before it, helping the body gradually shift toward a more balanced and stable state. Most patients begin with a treatment plan of 8–10 sessions.
Each session includes a brief check-in and a carefully chosen treatment based on where your body is that day. Dietary and lifestyle guidance may be offered to support your progress.
Other Tools and Techniques
Medical Qigong
Core Synchronism
Frequency-Specific Microcurrent
Electro-Acupuncture
These tools and techniques may be used selectively to support your treatment.

I’m Hannah Rosenstein, M.Ac, L.Ac, the solo practitioner behind this small Dupont Circle acupuncture clinic. I’m a DC licensed acupuncturist, certified to practice by the NCCAOM.
As a DC native, and I am proud to serve this community. Prior to becoming an acupuncturist I spent ten years as a massage therapist, specializing in prenatal care, deep tissue, and myofascial release, with additional training and practice in Core Synchronism, Reiki, and Medical Qigong.
My own health struggles lead me to the passionate pursuit of answers. Along the way I fell in love with acupuncture and bodywork, and knew I’d found my calling.
I completed training as a Natural Therapeutic Specialist at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. I began my study of acupuncture at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, and earned my Master of Acupuncture from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. I continue to deepen my studies at the Tan Balance Academy and the Integral Nutrition Institute.

I value a spirit of partnership in the therapeutic relationship and ask that you come ready to participate in your own healing.
My role is to offer the best care I can, listen carefully, reflect with you, celebrate your progress, and help you navigate setbacks along the way.
I share my professional perspective when you are considering changes that may affect your health, and I am honest about what I believe we can accomplish together.
I also value the honest expression of emotion and the connection between our emotional and physical lives. Just as stress, trauma, or prolonged strain can shape the way illness appears in the body, supportive experiences can become powerful forms of medicine.
Meaningful conversation, movement, rest, cultural experiences, time in nature, nourishing food, and what we take in through our eyes and ears all have the potential to support healing.
Healing is a process, and we approach it together with patience, clarity, and respect for your body’s capacity to change.
What to expect
-
At your first appointment, we’ll spend time going over your health history and discussing your goals. I’ll then offer my best recommendation for a treatment plan, which we will review and agree on together. You’ll also receive your first treatment.
If you choose not to start a plan, you will still be able to receive a treatment that day.
-
You’ll receive regularly scheduled acupuncture treatments at my Dupont Circle clinic, typically once or twice per week during our agreed-upon course of care.
Each session begins with a brief check-in so I can adjust your treatment based on how you’re doing that day.
You will receive diet and lifestyle guidance as needed, with additional self-care support available through a dedicated online platform.
-
After your initial treatment plan, we’ll review your progress and determine the next phase of care. This may involve continuing treatment, gradually reducing frequency, or graduating from care.
-
A new patient intake is $175.
Regular treatment-plan appointments are $135.For long-term care plans (more than 25 sessions), pricing is offered at an 8% discount.
I currently accept one new sliding-scale treatment-plan patient per month. If you are ready to begin treatment but cost is a barrier, please reach out for more information and to schedule an appointment.
-
At this time, I am not in-network with any insurance providers.
Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network care, and I provide the documentation needed to submit for reimbursement.
Operating out-of-network allows me to create treatment plans guided by what will genuinely support your progress, rather than by the yearly visit limits often set by insurance companies.
What People Are Saying
“I found Redstone online, after urgent care and chiropractic treatment had failed to remedy severe neck pain and numbness and hyper sensitivity of skin on my scalp and neck. Hannah recommended 5 sessions, and made deliberate progress. I'm pain free and only mildly stiff; all my symptoms have abated after exactly 5 sessions. Highly recommend!”
— Peter H, Google Review“I've been seeing Hannah for a while now and she brings nothing but professionalism, attention, and expertise to her practice. She listens attentively and provides care based on her knowledge and my specific needs and experiences—nothing cookie-cutter. I initially wasn't sure if acupuncture was going to help my issues (mostly side effects from cancer treatment) but it has reduced my problems by at least 5x and even my family noticed a difference once Hannah started treating me. Her services are a great value for the impact and comfort she provides. I recommend Redstone to anyone who will listen.”
— Loren D, Google Review“I saw Hannah for acupuncture during my pregnancy. She's very gifted. She helped manage my aches and pains, and also helped me to relax even at the very end when I was so uncomfortable and getting nervous about delivery. Working with her was one of the best things I did while pregnant and I would do it again in a heartbeat! 100% recommend.”
